The Teachers’ Council of Basirhat College is characterized by a sense and feeling of mutual understanding and co-operation among the members across age groups as well as across different motivations. Teachers’ Council discharges the responsibility of looking after the well – being of the teachers in their times of difficulty. The Teachers’ Council’s academic agenda has propelled the publication of a multidisciplinary journal “CHARCHA” to which every member of the Council as well as Teachers from other institutions contribute.
